TESTIMONIALS

"In 2001 a very special little kitten came to stay at our house named Emma. She weighed in at a whopping 2 ½ pounds. When she was about 9 months old she began vomiting and wouldn’t eat. The doctors at Piney Creek Square Veterinary Clinic took x-rays, but nothing showed up on them. She was losing weight, and she was thin by nature anyway, so everyone was worried about her. Dr. Behrns came to the rescue and performed emergency surgery on our little girl. She found an almond trying to pass into Emma’s stomach. Of course, it would not have shown up on an x-ray. Thank you, Dr. Behrns, for saving Emma’s life."

Pet Health Insurance

Pet health insurance can be a helpful component to the financial approach of your pet’s veterinary care.  Not only can pet health insurance help cover the cost of medical expenses should an emergency or critical illness arise, but many plans have routine and wellness coverage for preventative care like vaccines, annual exams, screening bloodwork and heartworm testing and preventative.

It is important to research all the plans available to see what fits best in your budget and what matches the possible risks for the size and breed of your pet.  It is important to note pet health insurance companies do not use networks; therefore, Piney Creek Square Veterinary Clinic accepts all pet health insurance policies.  Also, pet health insurance companies are reimbursement programs which means payment is expected at the time services are rendered at Piney Creek Square Veterinary Clinic and you will be paid by your pet health insurance plan after you submit a claim for that particular visit.  Please use the following sources of information to decide if investing in pet health insurance is right for you.
